Caroline Robichaux, MA, CCC/SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist, Board Certified Cognitive Specialist, Owner

Caroline Robichaux obtained a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida in 2013.  She has worked in school-based settings and private practices in Florida, Georgia, and Louisiana.  Caroline has attended trainings on SCERTS, Visualizing Verbalizing, and Wilson Reading Systems. Caroline has a special interest in children with language impairments, language-based learning deficits, dyslexia, reading disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is also a Board Certified Cognitive Specialist.  Additionally, Caroline is an alumnus of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program.

Maureen Spencer, MCD, SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Maureen Spencer obtained a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders in 1982 from Louisiana State University Medical Center.  She has worked as a school speech-language pathologist, as an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University Medical Center, and in private practice in New Orleans specializing in treatment of dyslexia and other language-learning disabilities. Maureen was also a national trainer/consultant in an intervention curriculum for individuals with reading deficits.

Meredith McGee Guidry, MCD, CCC/SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Meredith McGee obtained a Masters degree in Communication Disorders from Louisiana State Health Sciences Center-Shreveport in 2016. She has worked as a school based speech-language pathologist in Orleans Parish. Meredith has also worked in early intervention in New Orleans treating and assessing individuals with a variety of language impairments.  She has received PROMPT Level 1 training. Additionally, Meredith has attended Fundations Training (Wilson Reading System).

Sarah Bennett, M.S.

Academic Specialist, Board Certified Cognitive Specialist

Sarah Roniger Bennett is a native New Orleanian. She returned home with her family from Houston in 2019. Sarah received her Master’s of Science in Speech Language Pathology from University of Southern Mississippi in 1997. Sarah practiced as an SLP at a private practice in New Orleans 1997 up until Hurricane Katrina forced her to relocate to Houston. She has served as the co-director of Jimmy Club for many years. Sarah has attended Fundations Training (Wilson Reading System). She is also a Board Certified Cognitive Specialist.

Lallie Bennett, MS, CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Lallie Bennett obtained a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Carolina in 2021. She has experience working in school-based, university clinic, and medical settings. She is originally from Meridian, MS and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Birmingham-Southern College. She is trained in the Wilson Reading System and attended school-age literacy and advanced literacy courses.

Desiree Connell

Academic Specialist

Desiree Connell obtained a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Louisiana State University. She taught for almost forty years in the school system. During that time, Desiree trained other teachers in various reading, writing, and math programs. She also trained in the Wilson Reading System.

Jena Vizzini, MCD, CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Jena Vizzini obtained her Master of Communication Disorders from Louisiana State University’s Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in May of 2021. Prior to graduate school, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders with a minor in Psychology from Louisiana State University. Jena has acquired experience within private and public school settings, private clinics, hospitals, and home health. She enjoys the wide scope of speech-language pathology, though she primarily works with school-aged children in the areas of speech sound disorders, early literacy skills, reading comprehension, vocabulary expansion, and social language skills.

Melissa DeRussy

Academic Specialist

Melissa DeRussy obtained an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s degree in Special Education (Resource Collaborative Teaching) from The College of William and Mary. She taught for almost 30 years in several states before moving to New Orleans with her family. Most recently Melissa served as the Lower School Math Specialist working with children grades 2-6 as well as mentoring and training teachers in math instruction.

Grace Britsch LeBlanc, MCD, CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Grace LeBlanc obtained a Master's degree in Communication Disorders from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-New Orleans in 2017. Prior to graduate school, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders with a minor in Psychology from Louisiana State University. She has worked as a school-based speech-language pathologist for six years where she has acquired experience within preschool and private school settings. Grace has attended an intensive Wilson Reading System introductory course. She has interests in the areas of language, fluency, and speech sound disorders.

Emily Gillen MCD, CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Emily Gillen obtained her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2022. She is originally from Baton Rouge where she earned her bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders from Louisiana State University in 2020. Emily has experience working within private and public schools, university clinics, private clinics, and medical settings. She is trained in the Wilson Reading System. Emily enjoys working within the pediatric population focusing on literacy, speech sound disorders, language disorders, and early intervention.
